There's very little info online about this EN2251 modem. I need remote SQL Server access for my job, and something at the modem levels is blocking named pipes or a specific port forward, maybe. Was it ever possible to change settings on these Hitron modems? It's barebones but shows you connection status, etc. The Netgear CM500 has a web interface, of course. So it's more important to Spectrum to be able to upsell you future services than to send out a reliable modem. They know if they can upsell you voip or TV WITHOUT having to swap your modem and do an in person installation you're more likely to commit. I also don't love that Spectrum sent me their "all in one modem" with voip, television and Internet so they could later upsell me on services I don't want. It's pretty disrespectful to their customers that Spectrum sends out basically faulty Internet modems.
